>bombinate / give back

Some work deserves to exist even when there's no budget.

>bombinate / give back is a small, ongoing program: every so often we select one organisation or initiative and take on — without a professional fee — the digital work it needs, from a website to a useful online tool.

What it is

Periodically — not continuously, and always by choice.

Every so often we pick one project where digital development can make a practical difference. Our program capacity is small and our time is limited, so we work on one give back project at a time — with the same care we give every client.

Potential recipients — Non-profit organisations, volunteer groups, social initiatives, civil-protection or cultural/community groups — small teams doing demonstrably useful work. We are not limited to any particular sector.

What it can include

Depending on the project and its real scope:

  • Website
  • Redesign of an existing site
  • Landing page
  • Small web application
  • Useful online tool
  • Management system (CMS)
  • Forms & workflows
  • Whatever else the project calls for

Coverage depends on the project — we don't promise everything to everyone.

To be perfectly clear

  1. This is not a "free websites" promotion.

It's a donation of professional work to projects that need it — with the same seriousness we bring to every engagement.

  2. Not every application is accepted.

We choose based on purpose, need and the time we have available. An application is not a commitment on our side.

  3. Scope is agreed before we start.

We define together what is included before work begins. Extensions beyond the agreement are not covered by the program.

  4. Third-party costs stay with the organisation.

Domain, hosting, premium services or licences — whatever falls outside our own work remains the recipient's responsibility.

  5. We need your cooperation.

We'll ask for content, information and decisions in good time — your participation is part of the agreement.

What we look at when choosing

No scoring systems, no formal process — we read every application and judge it on:

  1. Genuine purpose
  2. A defined, real need
  3. Realistic scope
  4. Whether the digital solution makes a meaningful difference
  5. Willingness to cooperate during the build
